• • Introduced a portfolio management concept that freed up capital and reduced complexity by driving the divestment of 13 non-core businesses and geographies

• • Achieved carve-out of the global powertrain business in 2019 (c. 8bn EUR sales, 30 plants, 14 countries, 40k employees) from the group on time with no critical issues on day 1 and c. 190m EUR below budget of EUR 740m and 1.6bn EUR under initial plan by redesigning split of factories, quality labs and prototype shops

• • Subsequently in 2021 achieved spin-off and listing of the global powertrain business again on time with no critical issues and 30m EUR below budget of EUR 465m with dis synergies of below 0.2% of sales by running cost saving initiatives

• • Led a global project team of 1,000+ people by hiring and heading a project management office with 3 project officers and designing, staffing, and managing 16 cross-functional workstreams

• • Actively participated in the selection process of the IPO advisor and GloCos

• • Member of Listing Steering Committee on legal & documentation, equity story and marketing together with Group CFO, head of treasury, head of IR and head of law

• • Developed concept and implemented new automotive organization together with CTO and head of quality incl. new business unit structure and centralized R&D by facilitating executive board level workshops with top strategy advisors

• • Successfully created new role "corporate head of strategy" by pitching to executive board

• • Obtained necessary approvals from executive board and employee representatives by regularly presenting project design, project progress and actual and planned costs

Mission to built-up first ever regional M&A department outside of the HQ in Germany by upskilling existing JV controlling team. Reporting to CFO Asia, Global Head of M&A and Global Head of JV Controlling. Regularly presented to China and Global Executive Board

• • Led team of 2 managers incl. change, recruiting, promotion, retention and development

• • Negotiated and executed 12 M&A transactions predominantly in APAC

• • Built 6 joint ventures in complex markets such as China, India, Iran and Saudi Arabia

• • Initiated 3 regional and one product specific market screening for M&A opportunities leading to market entry into Indonesia and a new R&D center in Western China

• • Reduced the duration of board resolutions in 10 JVs from 2+ weeks to same-day by negotiating in advance

• • Lowered the number of audit findings and increased speed and quality of board of director meetings by training over 50 general and financial managers across Asia on their fiduciary duties as legal entity managers
