For the CPEG: 40,000 Employees and 25,000 Retirees

In a dual capacity as Project Director and Product Owner, I led the end-to-end development and implementation of a state-of-the-art insured management system. This pivotal project was aimed at improving the management of 40,000 employees and 25,000 retirees for the CPEG, embodying significant operational improvements and strategic value.

Leadership and Strategic Direction: As the driving force behind the project, I orchestrated the strategic vision, ensuring alignment with the CPEG’s objectives. I directed a multifaceted team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Software Development Oversight: I played an integral role in the software development process, from conceptualization to deployment. My responsibilities encompassed defining product vision, prioritizing the product backlog, and closely collaborating with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that met user needs and project specifications.

Automation and Process Improvement: I championed the automation of interactions with approximately 65 employers, leading to the successful migration of crucial data and the implementation of advanced output management practices. My efforts in optimizing, digitizing, and automating processes yielded significant efficiency gains and enhanced operational capabilities.

Team Management and Collaboration: I managed a dynamic team, including 1 Scrum Master, 7 developers, 3 business analysts, and 1 test manager. Beyond internal team leadership, I worked closely with the client and their teams to precisely define requirements and needs. This collaborative effort extended to actuaries, with whom I partnered to implement the pension plan into the system effectively. By fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement, I ensured the project’s success within the set timelines and budgets, delivering a transformative solution that significantly improved the insured management system for the CPEG.

Digital Application and Automated Assessment: At the heart of the service implementation was the development of a digital application process for mortgage requests. I led the integration of automated assessment tools within Temenos T24, enabling swift and accurate evaluation of borrower eligibility and risk.

Electronic Signature and Fund Disbursement: Implementing electronic signature capabilities was crucial for simplifying the mortgage closure process. I managed the integration of secure electronic signing technologies, coupled with automated fund disbursement mechanisms, to expedite the mortgage funding process, ensuring timely and secure transactions.

System Integration and Configuration: A significant aspect of my role was configuring the Temenos T24 system to support the new mortgage service, including the customization of workflows and interfaces. I also oversaw the integration of T24 with external systems such as Document Management (GED), credit insurance, and debtor management systems, to support the comprehensive mortgage lifecycle.

Collaboration with External Partners: The project required close collaboration with external partners, including technology vendors, financial service providers, and legal consultants, to ensure the mortgage service complied with regulatory standards and met market needs.
