Department MRD/PCS (Mobile Radio Division / Professional Customer Services). I joined an international team of 5 developers committed to developing a tool used by highly specialized Mobile Radio Network Architects around the globe to size and design national 2G and 3G mobile networks with Alcatel pieces of equipment. The tool analyzed raw data from Alcatel mobile networks and produced exhaustive reports with architecture bottlenecks and network design flaws. In charge of enhancements, my main achievement was to increase - by a factor of 6 - the overall speed of the tool by reducing: * the complexity of algorithms used to calculate complex KPI * the number of database fetches by 97% Keywords: Model-View-Controller design pattern, C#, .NET, advanced data structures, algorithm optimizations
