I worked with Gastón from the moment of the very first idea of the book. As I gave him the text, he transmitted the words to images in such a beautiful and sensitive way.
All the images in the book are very well researched (in this case it is a book about animals) and he combined realistic illustrations with artsy and stunning elements.
Gastón has exceptional ideas when it comes to how to present and transmit a specific feeling in an image. He understands what is behind and puts all his focus on combining the illustrations with the texts. Like that, he creates beautiful and interesting worlds within a book.
Working with Gastón was a pleasure - he communicated his ideas, was open to changes and took a lot of care in the collaboration.
