Hallo,

mein Name ist Kathrin, ich bin gelernte Kommunikationsdesignerin im Schwerpunkt Illustration/Editorial Design.

In meinen Illustrationen bewahre ich gerne das Gefühl einer handgezeichneten Illustration. Mit vielfältigen Texturen, die an Bleistift, Wachs und Wasserfarben erinnern, sowie einer harmonischen Farbwahl verleihe ich meinen Illustrationen einen besonderen, handgemachten Charakter.

In Stil und Form meiner Illustrationen bin ich dennoch flexibel und freue mich immer auf neue Herausforderungen.

Als Kommunikationsdesignerin habe ich stets die Form und das Layout im Blick. Ich zeichne also nicht nur schöne Illustrationen, ich kann sie auch in eine stimmige Gesamtkompositionen (mit Text) zusammen setzen.

Im Printbereich gestalte ich Bücher, Magazine, Flyer, Poster, Banner etc.

my name is Kathrin, I am communication designer specialized in illustration/editorial design.

In my illustrations, I like to preserve the feel of a hand-drawn illustration. With varied textures like pencil, wax and watercolor, as well as a harmonious choice of colors, I give my illustrations a special, handmade character.

Nevertheless, I am flexible in the style and form of my illustrations and always look forward to new challenges.

As a communication designer, I always have the form and layout in mind. So I am not only drawing beautiful illustrations, I can also put them together in a coherent overall composition (with text).

I also design books, magazines, flyers, posters, banners, etc.
