Marcel has over 25 years of experience in IT, thereof 10 years in the Data, BI & Analytics market. From 2008 to 2013, he was responsible for building up the Qlik business in Switzerland from scratch. After working as Country Manager at MicroStrategy, Marcel joined Qlik again and had the position of Country Manager Switzerland.
From 2017-2020 he led the team of Named Account Management at Oracle Switzerland. The technology-, digital- and cloud business. As an entrepreneurial thinking and acting manager, he was responsible for the business development and growth in Switzerland, Austria, Eastern- and Southern Europe, Israel & Middle East at BigID, the start-up data intelligence platform addressing data security & protection challenges.
2022 Marcel helped Trustsoft to start the Cloud Service Business in DACH. He managed to become a strategic Partner with AWS and others. With the clear strategy and hands-on execution, he managed to win an AWS award and brand awareness in the market.
His core competences are everything around value selling, selling of complex IT solutions, implementing of strategically and tactical sales methodologies, budget and turnover responsibilities, Implementation of enterprise strategies and optimization of processes. He builds successful teams and is passionate about increasing efficiency and productivity within organizations.
Furthermore, the ability to “think out of the box” has helped Marcel to become an excellent visionary, leader, team builder, manager and solution finder with creativity, innovation and a clear focus either directly with the customers or through building a strong partner eco-system.
