Allan Kipkemoi

I am a telecommunications engineer with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology. My career has been driven by a passion for designing and delivering reliable communication networks that connect people and businesses.

Throughout my professional journey, I have been involved in major telecommunications projects across Kenya. I worked on Safaricom FTTS deployments, where I gained experience in fiber route planning, network design, site surveys, and infrastructure documentation. I also contributed to Airtel's expansion project involving 75 2G sites, which strengthened my skills in mobile network planning, deployment coordination, and project execution.

In addition, I participated in Starlink and Amazon-related projects, exposing me to emerging connectivity technologies and international infrastructure standards. These experiences broadened my understanding of both traditional and next-generation telecommunications systems.

Over time, I developed strong expertise in planning and design engineering, combining technical knowledge with practical field experience. My responsibilities have included network planning, route optimization, technical documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

In September 2025, I joined Quavatel Ltd as a Design and Planning Engineer. In this role, I continue to develop innovative telecommunications solutions, focusing on efficient network design and infrastructure expansion.

My goal is to become a leading telecommunications planning and design professional, contributing to projects that improve connectivity and support digital transformation across Africa and beyond.
