    Brought in to unblock Engineering hiring that had stalled : 3 roles filled in 3 months, all open for 6+ months before I arrived.

    Embedded directly with the C-Suite and People team as the sole recruiter for Engineering, owning the full cycle: intake, sourcing, process design, optimisation, advising on salary and leveling, and closing.

    What I fixed:
    → Rebuilt the Ashby ATS from the ground up : cleaned data, restructured pipelines, created a real source of truth for hiring metrics
    → Redesigned the intake and interview process to cut friction and reduce time-to-hire
    → Set up reporting so leadership had live visibility on pipeline health for the first time
    → Sourced and closed senior Engineering profiles in a competitive market

    → Active sourcing and talent mapping in a small, highly competitive local pool
    → Strategic advisory to TA and hiring managers: process optimisation, pipeline strategy, and candidate advocacy (including salary realignment to stay competitive)
    → ATS management and pipeline hygiene (Welcome to the Jungle)
    → 6 hires over 7 months in constrained conditions

    Pure sourcing mission: brief to engagement, handing off to the internal recruiter for process. The real challenge wasn't the roles, it was the market.

    → Web3 Engineers, Engineering Managers and Web3 Product Engineers across Europe and the US
    → +250 actively engaged leads in 3 months - top 10% of global DeFi/crypto talent
    → Extensive talent mapping across DeFi companies, built from near scratch
    → Sourced where the talent actually lives: Reddit, Signal, dedicated Web3 forums - not just LinkedIn
    → Navigated a market full of fake accounts, anonymous profiles, and zero visibility on traditional channels

    One of the most technically demanding sourcing environments I've worked in. Loved every second of it.
